In 2026, The Pony Club Championships introduced its first International Challenge, welcoming teams from outside the UK and opening a new chapter of international exchange for this long-established British youth equestrian event.
2026年The Pony Club全英锦标赛于8月14日至22日在英国Warwickshire的Offchurch Bury举行，赛事为期 9 天，超过3500名参赛者共襄盛举。作为The Pony Club 认证中心，上海源长流青少年马术会（以下简称“YCL Shanghai”）代表中国参加了首届’’蓝十字马匹护理国际挑战赛’’，并最终获得亚军。
The Pony Club Championships 2026** was held from 14 to 22 August at Offchurch Bury in Warwickshire, UK. The nine-day championship welcomed over 3,500 participants to this spectacular event. As a The Pony Club Overseas Linked Centre, YCL Shanghai represented China at the inaugural Blue Cross Horse and Pony Care International Challenge, finishing as runners-up.
来自上海源长流青少年马术会的两支队伍与来自不同地区的优秀青少年骑手同场竞技，最终，YCL Shanghai – Dragon Unicorn (殷学静、殷学俪) 以555分获得亚军；YCL Shanghai – Eastern Highland (李秋芸、罗子萱) 以525分获得第四名。
Two teams from YCL Shanghai competed alongside young riders from different regions. YCL Shanghai – Dragon Unicorn (Jean Yin, Flora Yin) finished as runners-up with 555 points, while YCL Shanghai – Eastern Highland(Chloe Lee, Hazel Luo) placed fourth with 525 points. Both YCL Shanghai teams finished in the top four.

中国骑手走向全英锦标赛的足迹
2024年8月，The Pony Club – China（国际青少年马术会 – 中国）曾组织“马匹护理队比赛集训营”，备战在英国举行的JCB 2024英国国际青少年马术会锦标赛。天星调良国际青少年马术会成员Adam Xiong代表中国总部首次参加全英锦标赛，与英国2名成员组成国际队，参加马匹护理队比赛mini组的角逐——当届该组别共有47支队伍参赛。这也是中国内地成员首次登上全英锦标赛的赛场，具有里程碑式的意义。
从2024年中国成员首次参赛，到2026年首支全中国成员阵容的中国队伍站上国际挑战赛的领奖台，中国青少年骑手正以更加完整的姿态走向这一舞台。
比赛内容不仅考察马匹护理和马房管理知识，也考验队员的团队协作以及对’’人马精神’’的理解。对于YCL的队员而言，这也是一次在国际赛场检验所学、积累经验的宝贵机会。
The challenge tested not only the riders' knowledge of horse care and stable management, but also their teamwork and understanding of Horsemanship. For the YCL riders, it was a valuable opportunity to put their learning into practice and gain experience on an international stage.
在The Pony Club的体系中，马术从来不只是“骑得好不好”。马匹护理、马房管理、对马匹行为的理解、团队协作以及对马匹的责任与尊重，同样是青少年马术教育的重要组成部分。
Within The Pony Club system, equestrianism is about far more than riding ability. Horse care, stable management, understanding horse behaviour, teamwork, responsibility and respect for the horse are all fundamental parts of youth equestrian education.

Among the riders identified by The Pony Club in connection with the 2024 Olympic equestrian teams were numerous former members, including dressage riders Carl Hester and Becky Moody; eventers Ros Canter, Laura Collett, Yasmin Ingham and Tom McEwen; and show jumpers Scott Brash, Harry Charles, Joe Stockdale and Ben Maher.

为了备战此次国际赛事，YCL Shanghai队员自8月初起在苏格兰的Scolland Pony Club进行了赛前集训。
In preparation for the international challenge, the YCL Shanghai riders began their pre-competition training at Scolland Pony Club in Scotland early August.
训练期间，队员们围绕骑术、马匹护理、马房管理及团队协作进行了系统准备，并在集训后前往全英锦标赛赛场，完成从训练到正式比赛的完整赛事体验。
During the training period, the riders worked systematically on riding, horse care, stable management and teamwork, before travelling to The Pony Club Championships to experience the complete journey from preparation and training to international competition.

除了赛场上的竞技，YCL Shanghai队员还参加了官方组织的 Centres Big Sleepover活动。来自英国不同地区的The Pony Club会员共同住宿、参加游戏和活动，并在Party中认识新朋友、分享经历。
Beyond the competition arena, the YCL Shanghai riders also took part in the official Centres Big Sleepover, joining The Pony Club members from different parts of the UK for shared accommodation, games and activities, as well as a party where young riders could meet new friends and share their experiences.
对于YCL的队员而言，这也是比赛之外了解The Pony Club社群文化的一次重要经历。
For the YCL riders, this was an important opportunity to experience the wider community and culture of The Pony Club beyond the competition itself.

This has been a journey of equestrian development and a meaningful exchange of youth across borders.
